Spectroscopy Services

APS offers absorption spectroscopy services, and on occasion emission spectroscopy. All absorption spectroscopy is performed using our state-of-the-art Shimadzu SolidSpec-3700DUV absorption spectrophotometer with a spectral range from 175-2600 nm. Users of this service provide crystal or glass samples with polished faces, and in the case of uniaxial or biaxial materials, with all appropriate crystal axes identified.
